The Pearl Standard Stewardess Course is a thoughtfully designed introduction to the interior of luxury yachting. It’s for women who are ready to grow, stretch, and rise to the occasion with soft skills, strong boundaries, and a grounded sense of purpose that will carry them far.
Led by a former senior stewardess with 5+ years of experience on yachts, this immersive course teaches you more than just how to serve and clean. You’ll learn what it really means to live and work onboard from guest service and housekeeping, to communication, etiquette, personal safety, and how to carry yourself with confidence and professionalism in a high-pressure, close-quarters environment.
Through a mindful and nurturing approach, you’ll be guided through every element of the role from guest-facing responsibilities to back-of-house systems, charter expectations, team dynamics, and what to expect during your first season onboard. With a strong focus on mindset, boundaries, and building real confidence, this course empowers you to step onboard not just capable, but truly prepared.
Meet Lauren Beukman,
Founder of White Pearl Interior
With over five years in the superyacht industry, Lauren has built a reputation not only for her exceptional service standards but also for her heartfelt mentorship onboard. From Mediterranean summers to Caribbean winters, she has worked on both private and high-volume charter yachts ranging from 45m to 105m — including some of the most prestigious vessels in the industry, such as M/Y Wheels (75m), M/Y Bold (85m), and M/Y Bravo Eugenia (105m).
Her experience spans all aspects of interior — from detailing and deep housekeeping to fine dining service, laundry, floristry, and onboard mixology. She holds a WSET Level 1 qualification and brings with her a passion for wine and guest experience, having grown up in South Africa’s renowned Stellenbosch winelands.
Whether working with small teams or large interior departments of 12+, she consistently trained and mentored junior stews, often taking the lead in housekeeping protocols, flower arranging, and guest service coaching. With eight Atlantic crossings under her belt, she knows what excellence looks like — especially during high-pressure prep before charter seasons.
With a background in yoga, health coaching, Batchelor Degree in Sports Science and primary school teaching, Lauren brings a calm, uplifting energy to her training. Her perfectionism, eye for detail, and passion for systems and structure have helped her create a course that’s not just inspiring — it’s industry-ready.
Through the Pearl Standard Stewardess Course, she now shares her hard-earned knowledge with the next generation — preparing them not only with the practical skills they need, but with the mindset and confidence to create their best life onboard.
